Vehicle Detail
I hit a deer and damaged the front end of this car. Needs new hood, radiator, grill, AC/heater core, all the front end metal in the engine compartment, both headlights. Didn't crunch bumper or deploy air bags (that piece hanging down in the photo comes loose every once in a while). No damage to front suspension or engine: still runs, drove it up onto the trailer to tow home, but obviously needs a new radiator before doing any real driving. Timing belt was changed at ~108K. Interior is in good, not great condition. I've kept it clean but previous owner wasn't meticulous, so there are some grime spots on floor mats and the like. Body is decent. Trunk has a ding, everywhere else just has normal road nicks. Paint is showing wear on trunk, roof, and hood--but then it needs a new hood anyway, so that shouldn't matter much. :-) Was going to fix it back up myself, so pulled out the old parts, examined it thoroughly, and have acquired almost all the replacement parts. But I've got a couple other projects going on and wouldn't mind letting it go as a package to someone else that appreciates a good diesel. Here's the rundown on what is needed and what replacement parts (all used) go with it as a package: -radiator (part included) -A/C core (part included) -fans (fans included, need fan brackets) -power steering injector pump bracket (part included)-pump is ok -front radiator bracket (part included) -hood -headlights (one included) The first photo shows how the car looked post-deer. The rest are after I stripped out the broken stuff. Please excuse the baseboard scrap I tied on there to support the new radiator. I put that in so you can drive it back and forth in the driveway and be assured that the engine and transmission are fine. Photos #3 & #4 are close-ups of the power steering bracket, which is the only thing that will be a bit of a pain to replace. Everything else is pretty straight forward and bolt-together. Locally listed as well, so subject to prior sale. Call Randy at 563-579-1584 with any questions.
