A nice 1991 Mercedes 500 SL in decent shape. Car has both tops, beautiful genuine Mercedes chrome wheels, rebuilt transmission, new brakes and rotors, new a/c evaporator, new power steering pump, new fuel pumps and fuel filters, new engine mounts, new battery. The car even has the original Mercedes phone still installed with handfree, which is very rare to find. Car has been a Florida car it's entire life as the Autochex report verifies. Body is in good shape and has a couple of scratches and scrapes on the back bumper cap, and a couple of very small door dings on the back quarter panel. Mechanically the car starts right up and runs really well. No smoke, no noises, or vibrations. This car runs like a dream. As stated above, the transmission was rebuilt within the last year, however, it just recently started to shift hard from 2nd to 3rd gear. I'm not sure whether it's the vacuum modulator, torque converter, or some other problem. But the transmission will need to be addressed as it will not shift right. The interior needs some work as the seats have wear and will need repair or replacement. . All in all, this is a sharp Mercedes SL that needs a little bit of work for someone who wants a great car at a cheap price, and is handy enough to do some of work that needs to be done. I don't have the time or the urge to fix it up, and I need it out of my garage because I just bought a new SUV, and my 2003 CLK Cabriolet is being parked outside because I only have a 2 car garage.
