Vehicle Detail
1977 Ford Bronco Drivetrain Original motor replaced with fully rebuilt “1994 Cobra motor” Details from builder:Engine from wrecked 1994 Mustang Cobra. 302 roller motorcompletely rebuilt. New crank bearings, rod bearings, rings, all new gaskets, brand new heads freshly taken out of packaging, new oil pump and drive, new water pump. The motor is stock with a mild cam in it, redone from intake to oil pan. Added front dress accessories from earlybronco to allow the V-belt system to be maintained. Electric radiator fan, thermostat controlled. New CVF billet aluminum pulley for 50oz harmonic balancer, new matched flywheel / flexplate. Brand new Edelbrock intake, new Edelbrock1406 Carburetor and “Ford” oval air intake cover. Rebuilt distributor with steel gear for roller cam, new spark plug wires, electric fuel pump, Jeff's Bronco Graveyard high output coil, new stainless oil dipstick with screw intube. There is less than 5 miles on the new setup. There are still minor bugs/tuning that may still need to be worked out. Still working on cleaning up the flow of theunder hood wiring. The engine was properly broken in, good oil pressure, andsounds great. Aftermarket headers and newer dual exhaust with dual mufflers. Rebuilt C-4 Automatic Transmission withaftermarket external cooler. (speedometer not currently reading speed but I will look into it, update per the company the TPI speedometer just needs set - they are adjustable to allow for tire size variations). Twin Stick transfer case shifter with billet knobs and floor mounted B&M transmission floor shifter, new boot bezel installed. Powerbrakes with dual bowl master cylinder, disc brakes. Aftermarket vendor storage box in old driver’s side vent opening 23gallon aftermarket gas tank (single larger aftermarket tank). Dana 44 and “9 inch” Rear end Power steering, quick ratio box. I have a slightly used Holley Projection "4D" computer controlled fuel injection system which can be included with the sale if the winning bidder has an interest. It is tuned by laptop OR the included hand held tuner. Manual included, about $1000 new. Electronics Aftermarket Stereo system with extra speakers (spent a ton on all of this), enclosed boxesbehind rear seat, speakers mounted on roll bar, custom boxes in roll bar “V”and in doors. AM/FM/CD/ +jack/ & XM UPDATE: on Stereo SystemRadio is an Alpine CD receiver CDA-9857 AMPS (boxes in very back under plexiglass) Octane R8.0:4 Phoenix GoldRoll bar "V" shaped bozed spearkers - Punch P1Chrome rollbar hanging speakers - Tantrum AutoDoor Speakers - R type by Alpine New Painless Wiring Harness & Newer battery 3g High Output Alternator, new mini harness and mega fuse system. Steering column wiring redone (still needs horn connected up) – hazards, turn signal, lights work. UPDATE: Horn should be fixed by Saturday. Custom electric windshield wiper motor setup Exterior “eye catching” Two tone green and silver, black accents Nice paint job with some with some normal chips and use wear. Really “no” bodyrust. Rear seam lines, tailgate, under hood area, under doors and rockers allnice (one of the best early bronco bodies I have seen). Southern Truck -originally from Georgia and North Carolina prior to bringing it to Delaware. Shaved door handles with electric keyless door poppers – electronic solenoid controlled. Aftermarket“shock style” hood openers, cobra jet style hood scoop, hood pins for safety. Custom bumpers front and rear, Front mounted Mile Marker WINCHRear mounted tire carrier and carrier for gas cans or cooler.( I will take $1500 off sale price if you do not want the bumpers & winch – I would keep) Custom built nerf step-up bars, mounted toframe but removable from mount with a few bolts. Virtually brand new – FIVE matching tires and wheels. Less than a few hundred miles. Goodyear 35 inch. UPDATE: I will install a very nice Best Top full soft top with zip out tinted windows if the buyer perfers this to the open "full bikini" safari top. I may be able to help with locating a hard top, but most people end up preferring the soft top (hard tops are harder to remove, store, and usually mess up the paint taking on and off). Interior VERY nice Full family style “crab” tubularroll cage with safari top. Three point front seat belts.( I will take $1000 off sale price if you donot want the roll cage – I would keep) Newer bucket seats in the front, fold and tumble rear seat (much better than stock if you have kids or fold up to carry something larger) Linex / Rhinoline – professionally sprayed interior coating.Best top console in the middle of front seats which contains keyed ignition switch and power door lock switches. Custom dash with aftermarket gauges (all work except speedometer). Aftermarket“Bronco” steering wheel “leather wrapped” and Bronco column to dash bezel. Has vintage air style control mounted in dash – heat and a/c are NOT installed. The newer (small style) compressor and the under the dash heat "mini gen" style a/c box is included with auction. Condenser bracket is installed on the motor.Would need to purchase condenser which goes in front of radiator and dryer then charge if a/c is desired. Heat should just be a matter of connecting up. I have aftermarket water proof orange and blue seat covers that I will include for free if you would like (seen in first few photos). The bronco was built for the offroad look and should be very capable but the bronco has never seen the trails (at least since the restoration began). Over $30K+ spent. Conditions: This is sold as is where is with no warranty stated or implied. The car gets a LOT of attention! No games allowed, no joy rides. Reserve right to sell locally. Being sold only to fund my other non-bronco project car. No payment scams. There are ONLY two forms of payment accepted - CASH when the car is physically picked up and the bill of sale provided OR money WIRED directly if shipped. Once payment is clear, I will help with meeting shipping company. You will be responsible for arranging the details, shipping cost, etc. Uship or DAS auto shippers seem to be good resources if shipping is needed. Sold two of my mustangs a few years ago, one went to the New England area and the other the whole way to Australia.
