Up for auction is a 1932 Chevrolet Confederate Deluxe Sedan with 80,000 miles on its odometer . This car has been sitting in a garage for most of its life and has not been started in over 20 years ,the gas was bad so I drained the tank and connected it to a gas can but the engine turns over too slowly to start ,I had the starter rebuilt and it still turns over very slowly ,it might need some attention to the electrical system, although the lights work . Body is in very good condition ,the oak in the doors is solid ,some of the side windows need to be replaced ,as well as the windshield .headlight lenses are broken but I have replacement lenses ,and I also have a replacement lower chrome headlight bar ,and new chrome rear bumper. Grill shell is in very good condition and chrome on car is pretty good ,frame and running boards are excellent. the car had a paint job in the 1970s and the interior was also redone at that time ,its original color was all black with red wheels,hood louvers were chrome under the paint, front bumper is missing . This is one of the very few chevys of this vintage that still wears its ORIGINAL serial number tag that is nailed to the passenger side wood floor ,it is a very thin metal tag that usually falls off with age ,it is old and has some paint on it but its original serial number is still visible and the car has a clear title in my name.Tires are in good condition and the car rolls and stops well .
