1970 Buick Skylark Custom Convertible (Restoration Project) This car DOES NOT RUN! This is a great restoration project. The car was originally a 350 Automatic car. It comes with a 1972 Buick 350 2bbl engine that is out of the car and needs rebuilt. I don't know anything about the engine. The exhaust manifolds and carb are missing. NOW For The Car. This is a great Restoration Project to start with because it is mostly complete. the only thing missing is the transmission, driveshaft, radiator, engine accessories & transmission crossmember. This is an original Bucket Seat and Floor Shift car. The Interior is all there, but needs a full restoration. The dash pad & the center Console are in very good condition. The Floor Shifter is all there. The Convertible Top Frame is all there and in very restorable condition with the exception of the front header bow. It is rusted through, but they are available reproduction. The Rocker Panels and the Frame are very solid. The Trunk Floor will need to be replaced, and the front floors will need a couple of patch panels But NOT Full replacement. The Firewall Seems to be very solid as well. The top of the windshield frame has a couple small rust holes (which is very common) but is very repairable. The radiator support is in pretty good shape. even where the battery tray is is not too bad. The Quarter Panels do have some rust through around the wheel opening area and the fenders will need lower patch panels. which are available reproduction. The doors have a small amount of rust in the inside lower corners and the right door has a small amount on the out side in the lower corners. The car comes with an original Steel GS Hood. It does have a little rust on the front edge and a few small dents in it, but is very repairable. The front & rear bumpers will need to be replaced, but all of the brackets are there and in good condition. I have tried to describe the car as well as i can and have provided many pics of the car.
