Vehicle Detail
For bid is one of the nicest Honda CT-110’s you will ever have an opportunity to bid on. This CT110 comes with a clear title, original tool kit, buddy seat, rear passenger foot pegs, original owner’s manual, and also a Honda CT110 Honda Shop Manual. This CT110 has 1,205 pampered miles. It starts up on the first or second kick, idles smooth and runs out strong. It also has the HI-LOW range allowing for eight speeds and the rotating handlebars for RV use. I have posted photos of the underside and the top side of the engine guard to show just how gentle this CT110 has been used...it appears there has been no trail use.....and adult owned and operated. This CT110 was previously owned by an elderly man who is still alive and over 90 years old. Before you purchase any other CT110 (even with low mileage) on Ebay consider if that motorcycle for sale on Ebay has been freshly serviced….have the fork seals been replaced? If not they are old and dry…do the tires show any weather cracking? Has the gas tank (including the auxiliary gas tank) been cleaned and or coated so it will prevent any future rust? If there is any rust in the gas tank there is sure to be contamination it the carburetor as well. Even if there is no rust the gas tank gas over the years turns to sticky residue or varnish and carburetors need to be taken apart and cleaned. How about the air filter element?...they all deteriorate after time to the point they will tear or fall apart when cleaning. How about the battery?...How old is it?...batteries usually only last two years. How about the rear of the exhaust pipe?...The CT90's and CT110’s exhaust pipes are notorious to rust out or be deteriorated at the rear on the bottom where moisture or condensation gathers….this one isn’t rusted … it’s rock solid. I know these vintage Hondas I love them and just because some Ebay seller will offer you a “low mileage” CT90 or CT110 chances are it will need expensive servicing….The normal shop rate is about $70.00 per hour. That "low mileage" CT90 or CT110 on Ebay you are considering to purchase may be a can of worms to be delivered TO YOU. Many Ebay sellers who peddle “low mileage” motorcycles will not tell you what their motorcycle will need in the near future. Most of those sellers are just interested in turning a quick profit and sending you a motorcycle that needs lots of work. I just don't believe in the powerwash and the paint approach to cover up oil leaks on engines or front forks....that's misleading and some people would call it dishonest. Any motorcycle will develop its own problems just from sitting idle for 20-30 years…even in less time. I know this through years of experience I am 60 years old and have been working on motorcycles for years. I have gone through this low mileage motorcycle completely…new fuel lines, vatted and cleaned the carburetor installing a new carburetor float needle and a new carburetor float bowl gasket. I have changed the oil with Honda 10/40 G4 motorcycle oil. I have installed new OEM Honda CT110 rear view mirrors. I acid washed the gas tank and coated the inside professionally so you will never need to ever worry about the rust issue. I also acid washed and professionally coated the auxiliary gas tank. I also drained and cleaned out the front forks installing new HONDA OEM front fork seals and new HONDA OEM front fork boots and fresh fork oil. I cleaned and serviced the air filter installing a new HONDA OEM air filter element. I rotated the original Yokahama tires and they are not weather cracked and are excellent both front and rear. The seat is perfect without any tears. The chain has been removed, cleaned and lubricated. I repainted and clear coated the air box (Honda OEM Monza Red) and installed new correct CT110 graphics. I installed a new OEM Monza Red down tube cover and added new OEM Honda decals. The brakes on both the front and rear have been inspected and show minimal wear. The chrome is all like new. There are no dents or scratches in the front fender. The lights Headlight (hi-low beam) both work, the horn is super loud, all of the lights tail light, brake light and all indicator lights work like they are supposed to. I have also installed a new battery. The engine does not smoke or leak any oil. This CT110 looks and runs like new. Don’t be misled by photos of other motorcycles on Ebay “taken from a distance” look at the details in this listing you will be pleased. This Honda CT110 comes with many extras as described above so compare before you buy. This is a no dissapointment CT-110 that will give you years of trouble free service...Bid with confidence.
