I am offering a 1987 Peugeot 505 LIBERTE for sale We moved and I no longer have a place tp store it. It's a special edition model, So named LIBERTE in honor of the Statue of Liberty. Its not new. It drives great. Doesnt appear to have any major rust issues. I had new struts and brakes put on it last year It looks great! Painted about 4 years ago. The interrior is nice The heated seats don't seem to work. Other issues : Needs to warm up when U first get in in when its cold. The tranny seems to hesitate if U don't let it warm up for 5 or 10 minutes. I had the tranny serviced back in the Spring. The sunroof operates well and doesn't seem to leak. The tires have good tread but are about 3 years old. It had a salvage title when I bought the car. It was a theft recovery I am told, and had broken headlight and passenger side fender was dented. I had all that repaired and it now has a clear/rebuilt title. If you purchase it you will need to pick it up. I have driven it as far as Lexington KY and Cincinnati Ohio.
