Vehicle Detail

The stunning DB7 GT was produced from 1994 to 2004, with sales in the U.S. starting in 1997. The car was styled by Ian Callum and exemplifies the Aston design philosophy: aggressive yet tasteful, fast and fun to drive. The DB7 look is timeless. It has received many accolades from the motor press - Jeremy Clarkson from Top Gear said “this is one of those cars that you simply cannot walk away from without turning for one last look”. On offer here is a beautiful silver DB7 couple with a gray leather interior – one of the best color combinations for the DB7. It has a straight-six, 3.2L supercharged engine delivering 335 bhp, automatic transmission, power windows, power seats, anti-lock brakes, driver and passenger side air bags, and a Kenwood stereo with Alpine 6-disc CD shuffle. The car is in really nice condition inside and out. The grey leather seats with black piping are in very good condition with only very minor wear. The grey suede headliner is in good condition with no stains or sagging. The exterior paint work is very good with only a few very minor cosmetic scratches. I tried to show these in the pictures so you can see exactly what you are getting – there are no major scratches or dings on the car and you won’t be disappointed with its condition. In January 2011, the car underwent its 30,000 mile/ 12 year service at the local Aston Martin service center. That’s a big service check point for the DB7 and it got a thorough review. As a result, the car got 4 new tires, a new battery, new front brake rotors/pads, a new ABS module, a new AC receiver/drier, plus lots of minor clean up and small parts (hoses, o-rings, seals etc). The car drives very well. The engine is smooth and powerful and the automatic transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears. The steering is tight and the brakes are responsive. All of the electricals work. There are just two minor issues that I’m aware of: the steering fluid needs topping up every 4 month or so, and the AC blows cool but not ice cold. This was a California car that has been looked after well and it comes with the original owners manual and a comprehensive service record. You won’t believe the complements that you will get driving this car. In 1997, it sold for over $130K new. This is your chance to own a beautiful classic at a fraction of that price. My family and work needs are changing so I’m forced to sell. My loss is your gain. I’m listing with a very fair reserve price so please only bid if you intend to buy. $500 deposit is due within 24 hrs and full payment is required within 7 days of sale. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pick-up or shipping. Best of luck! **UPDATED TO EXPLAIN VEHICLE HISTORY REPORT .. A few years back with the previous owner, California DMV mistyped the odometer reader as 130,000 instead of 13,000 .. there are service records either side of this mistake that confirm the original miles. It's now at 30,452 miles. The Aston Martin service center can confirm.**UPDATED TO ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT EXTERIOR CONDITION ... Overall the car is in great condition. The only blemishes are the scrapes at the lower front, a very fine scratch above the left back wheel arch and some minor "curb rash" - all shown in the photos. I never got these fixed because you really don't see them unless you look closely. The interior is very clean too. The only signs of minor wear are on the piping on the front passenger seat (could be fixed with a sharpie) and on the storge compartment between the driver and passenger seats - both shown in the photos.
