Vehicle Detail
This car has been inspected by an independent vehicle inspector! The car is all original and 99% complete. It runs and drives, great for parades and a Sunday drive. No rustthrough. The door sill (under the sill plate on passenger side) needs replaced. The wood is rotted in that spot only! Interior is complete. Shades on rear windows, ashtrays in back seat area, robe bar, foot bar, dome light, etc. All gauges except temperature work, as does the speedometer and odometer, plus has trip meter. Has aftermarket, yet original, underdash heater. Windshield is stuck will not roll up. All glass intact, 3 BB type holes, no cracks whatsoever. This car is being re-listed after a non paying bidder didn't want to pay, and filed a complaint with Ebay vehicle protection about the car not having a VIN #. Please understand, there were no VIN numbers in 1930. The car is legally titled using the body production serial # issued by Chevrolet. The title is clear, and the number matches the firewall ID plate and the serial # stamped in the floor at right front of front seat. The car is titled, tagged, and insured. The canvas tip insert needs re-fastened at corners. The maple? steering wheel is in need of the finger joints being re-glued. (one section will pop out with effort!) The lights all work with the exception of the dome light and the brake light. The engine, transmission and rear end are sound mechanically, as near as I can tell. I have had no mechanical problems with this car. That said, this car is definitely a head turner and is nice as is, or a great headstart on a total restoration, (in this case, a new interior and a paint job). Happy Bidding! On Dec-22-11 at 09:59:10 PST, seller added the following information: It's a little late in the auction for this addition, but here are two videos of the car. http://photobucket.com/1930-Chevrolet_videos_2
