1999 Isuzu VehiCROSSFirst of all let me say, I hate selling this, but I'm in the final stages of divorce and have to part with it...(ugh....it's my baby!), anyway, will do my best to list everything done. I bought this from a 65 year old Nasa Engineer just above San Diego. He had two of them. A 1999 silver and a 2000 yellow. I got the silver one.. That's when I started doing my mods. I had a new stereo system put in, Kenwood, removable face CD and remote, new speakers all the way around with a sub and amp in the back. Had it repainted and debadged. It's a special matte finish. They had to do this baking process to get it right. Anyway, it was painted in Feb of 2010 and looks perfect. All the door jambs and under hood were shot as well. My boys call it 'the tumbler', like the new Batmobile. Nobody knows what the heck it is! We catch people taking pictures of it all the time! I also had wheels and tires put on. Wheels are KMC XD Monster 18x9 and tires are Nitto Terra Grapplers 285/60/18. The wheels match the paint. The last things I did were have an OME 3 inch lift (shocks, springs, etc) put on and the torsion bars cranked to give it a full 4 inches. Mechanically I have always had it serviced with synthetic oil. All the wheel seals have been replaced. The brakes have been completely redone and had ceramic pads put on, with the exception of the anti-lock. That part does not work, but never has. CV joints and boots were replaced. The power windows work but need manual assistance (yes, it has the same window issue they all have). Also, A/C was serviced and all the seals replaced last summer. Only use K&N air filter. Headlight and foglight bulbs were switched out to Sylvania Superbrights. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. If anyone wants other pics, let me know that too, I will take and post them. There is nothing wrong other than the ABS (which doesn't need to be fixed, brakes work normally without it...states this in the manual), and the windows (which there are a couple of fixes on the net, but I just hadn't gotten there yet). Oh....I have all my reciepts! Just to help everyone out here....I paid $6500 when I bought it. I have WELL over $10,000 into it now. At any price....from my reserve, to the 'buy it now'....someone is getting a steal.... I looked for one of these for well over two years. When I can get one again someday, I will. they are amazing cars. I have a 10 year old and a 13 year old. They are both pissed at me...what do I tell them? It's cuz of your mom? NOOO.... I just said, it's just a car, we will get another... If you are looking for a VehiCROSS....I seriously doubt you will find one in better shape. Other than what I've stated, there's nothing wrong. Even today I took my boys to Target....three different people asked about the car. I have no for sale signs in it now. That will change tomorrow. I just have no other choices. I've looked for years for one of these. I have allot of cash (more than anyone will end up paying) into it. NO RESERVE! The winner WILL BE THRILLED! Good luck bidding. No Issues found....I had service done locally by Mac's Tire Company, Extreme Off-Road, and Oil Changers (who does all my Synthetic Oil Changes). Also had injectors cleaned, brake fuild flushed and radiator fluid flushed and changed.
