This classic Cadillac body style ended in 1956. Finding a rare, classic limo in highly restorable condition like this is uncommon. These limousines were the preferred chauffer driven car for the world’s elite, business scions, movie stars and political figures in the 50’s. Elvis owned a similar 1954 limousine and also a 1955 limousine and it is claimed, he and his band toured in this one. Two 1956 Series 75’s were modified for the Secret Service to become Parade Cars (convertibles) for use by the President and in fact, both of these custom built limos were following JFK’s Lincoln limo on that fateful day in Dallas in 1963. Most assuredly this car is a huge attention getter. With a few minor repairs, this car will be great fun to drive as is, but when restored, it could be spectacular.
