A MUST FOR A THUNDERBIRD COLLECTOR! Hello up for auction is a very nice 1971 Ford thunderbird. I am listing this for a friend who is the second owner of this nice car. who purchased it 10 years ago. And the first owner was an older man who was unable to drive anymore. The car is in excelent condtion, runs and drives great. It cruises very nice on the high way. It has a new set of tires all the way around. With the 4 original hubcaps. The vinyl top is still like new which was done a few years back. The car has new breaks all the way around. And the body is straight never been in an accident. This car just sits in the garage. And he only drives it once in a while, and starts it occasionally just to make sure it starts and everything is ok. It has a 429 Thunderjet with original milage. You start the car and it idles with the choke on. once its warm you step on the gas and it idles smooth. The interior is in decent shape for being a 40 year old car. Remember you are buying a used car, but a very nice one at that!!!!! It will need some headliner work, but very minor. And thats just from sitting. The car was painted by the origninal owner. A nice thick black paint job (The paint is very nice! Thick). Everything works good on the car the a/c will need some maintenance. The car just had new valve cover gaskets installed. The radiator was rebuilt. I have the pink slip and it is insured. This car is good and is well cared for. it is not used and abused stricktly a sunday car. This is a 1971 Classic Thunderbird. Only one year made that has been well kept up, and im sure it will just increase in value. This car was just pulled out of the garage to take pictures, now its going back in to the garage where it will sit until it sells or...?
