Here is an original, unrestored, 1957 Chevrolet Cameo Carrier. According to Chevrolet, 2,157 were built that year. Title is clear and in my name. Dad bought it used in 1970, and it has been in the family since then. Since he passed in '06 I have maintained it and driven it monthly. Both of my boys want it and a coin toss won't settle it. It came with the 283 c.i. V-8, 4-speed hydramatic transmission (recently overhauled), power brakes and power steering. Dad put a quality paint job on it in the late 70's using the original factory colors. Bolt-on air conditioning was added, along with seatbelts, nothing more. Everything else is as it came from the St. Louis factory. Dad always had it garaged, now I keep it in a carport. I put new radial tires on it last year and a new fuel tank and sending unit. It is missing one hubcap, has some rusted chrome on the rear bumperettes, and pitted chrome here and there.. It also needs the seat recovered and the inside of door bottoms need a little work. Comes with four bins (heavy!) of spares and extras including shop manual, owners manual, wheel trim rings, interior trim parts, "hydramatic" plaques, lenses, OEM brackets, new seals and gaskets, carb kits, transmission parts, custom cover, etc. The missing driver door hinge access panel is in the bin full of trim.
