I am starting a business that will require me to get a truck, so i must sell it as soon as possible and have placed NO RESERVE on this auction. For sale is my 2000 Honda Accord LX with ABS and driver/passenger airbags, power locks, power windows, Cruise control, an AC that blows ice cold, Automatic transmission that is perfect and has been babied for the entirety of the mileage, and the 2.4L VTEC 4-cylinder that gets really great gas mileage. I am the second owner and the first was my Grandfather, who was an Engineer for Honeywell / NASA and drove it like an 80 year-old man well before he turned 80..I purchased it from him last year to get good gas mileage when travelling to marathons around the country. I have since put roughly 10,000 miles on the vehicle, bought 18" Motegi rims, had legal tint put on, and have done 3 oil changes...This car WILL come with the stock 15" wheels as well with 99% tread Goodyear tires on them. The motegi rims have low profiles with around 30% tread on them. I have included picture of what the car would look like with either set of wheels and tires but the car COMES WITH BOTH SETS. The only thing the car is for is an alignment, as it pulls very slightly to the right. This is not a severe issue but the last time my Grandfather drove it, he said i needed to get it done..(I have just been putting it off, as i ride my motorcycle 95% of the time)..The motor and transmission operate beautifully and if you knew my granddad or myself, the family prides itself in engaging in proper acceleration profile practices to further the life of an already extremely reliable vehicle. The interior is in great condition(my granddad had seat covers on the driver and passenger side seats but i pulled them off at 95,000 miles) These BELL seat covers are included in the sale. There is one hole in the headliner about the size of a pea..It is not from a cigarette or anything like that..This car has NEVER been smoked in. it has an AIWA cd player with an AUX IPOD connection.. I play music through it with my Android phone and an 1/8 inch (headphone) audio cable. That being said, my granmother's daily driver is an identical honda accord that currently has 260,000 miles with the original motor and transmission that run like a top! On Dec-16-11 at 09:35:00 PST, seller added the following information: So i mounted and balanced some nicer tires (used but in great shape..they are bridgestone potenzas with maybe 70% tread life)on the front end and the slight pull that was occuring beforehand has magically dissapeared! I am not so mechanically inclined and would assume that the car would still need alignment as it is due for one. Also, i had the upholstery cleaned as well..I have posted some new pics to show the condition of the interior. I have also pictured a few spots on the chrome trim where we had to break in when i locked my keys inside in the middle of nowhere! You can buy trim for this car for very cheap here on EbAy...
