I bought the 4runner from the original owner. He had bought the truck in late 1984 (Sept. 1984 build date) in Atlanta, Ga. The original owner had used the 4runner as his daily driver for two years and then it became a third vehicle for him, thus the super low mileage. He had kept the oil changed and the cosmetic apperance up on the truck, but did not really maintain the truck like it should have been. Since I have owned the truck, I have spent tons of money and time bringing the truck back to tip-top shape. The following is a list of parts/service work done to the truck. New radiator, thermostat, water pump, new head and head gasket, all new belts and hoses, timing chain and guides, new clutch and pressure plate, new brake, new tires, rebuild front and rear axle. All of the parts have been original Toyota parts. New tires are B.F. Goodrich Rugged Terrain tires and I also have a set of B.F. Goodrich M/Ts for the truck also. 1985 was the only year of the solid axle/fuel injection combination, and this truck is also a SR5 model, which was the top of the line in 1985. The gold wheel are original to the truck and a pretty rare SR5 option. As you can see in the pictures, I have all the owners manual, window sticker, tool kit, etc. This is truly a very clean truck. The only reason I am selling is that I found a 1995 Land Cruiser that I could not live without. Please email me with questions and I will answer any question. Clear title in hand.
