The fuel-injected 1800E has the B20E engine with Bosch D-Jetronic Fuel Injection, with 4 speed/overdrive.Vin # 184353035657 Purchased by me 7/2010 with 101,100 miles. I have since put on about 2,000 trouble free miles. This was a California car, with one long term original owner before me and is exceptionally rust free. I have the car 1.5 years. It has always been adult owned and cared for. Car has had one repaint in its original Gold color many years ago by the original owner. There probably have been some touch ups over the years, but car has nice shine and looks great. Door jams, engine compartment, and trunk have original factory paint. Front and rear windshields have never been removed and are factory tight. Car has original engine, running smooth and strong. Transmission and overdrive work smooth and properly. This car needs nothing, can be driven anywhere. This is an honest car that can be a great collectable or daily driver. All owners manuals are included. EVERYTHING works including gauges, clock, Volvo radio, and perfectly working factory AC. I just had installed a beautiful ($5K) leather custom interior including new seats (not seat covers), head rests, door panels, arm rests, and head liner. Also installed is a beautiful new Luisi wooden steering wheel. (I have the original Volvo steering wheel which is in perfect condition and included in sale). All knobs, gaskets and chrome trim are present and perfect (Original or replaced NOS). I replaced any part that had any signs of wear, so looks very fresh. As this has been my personal car, I have paid special attention to every detail to insure each part is as perfect as can be and correct for a 1971. Bumpers are original, and have not been rechromed. They are dent free and look very good. Car is missing nothing. Trunk is super clean and has tool kit, jack handle, spare tire cover (with hold down strap), new trunk mat, as well as factory light. Original upper and lower dash is perfect aside from 1/4 inch split behind steering wheel. There is no overlay or dash cover. Carpet is original and still has rich brown color as seen in pictures. Car has been fully serviced, i.e., valves adjusted, valve gasket replaced, oil pan gasket replaced, rear main seal replaced, full tune up, radiator flushed, AC gone through and charged, water pump replaced, electronic ignition installed, extra fuel filter added to engine compartment. Car has a full stainless steel exhaust. Suspension has been gone through, i.e., KYB Gas-A-Just shocks, lower ball joints and upper A arm bushings, center tie rod ends. New brake pads, calipers rebuilt with pin kits, new master brake cylinder. Car was also upgraded with NOS BOSCH fuel pressure regulator and pressure sensor. A few (2 inches) very small surface paint bubbles on bottom of right fender were removed and spot painted when I got car. Hardly detectable. Car has various small chips, a few scratches along right fender and rear quarter that might be buffed out, as well as a few very small body dings from age. This car has been meticulously sorted out and is ready to enjoy for years to come. Any worn chrome trim has been replaced and is new. Rear license light, Volvo side view mirrors, rear Volvo letters, rear brake lights and chrome bezels have been replaced with NOS when available. Much money has been invested into the details of this car. Rear seat and rear side panels are original as they are as new. Paint is not show condition, has some chips, a few very slight dings as well as a few drip marks from that paint job.With that said, car is shiney, has the perfect patina to look very nice and correct. That is why I bought it.
