Hi You are bidding on a 1956 Chevy Bel Air Hard Top not a post car, Here is some information about the car you are bidding on. ENGINE The engine is a 283 original to the car I have been told, It has a Edelbrock Manifold and Eldelbrock carb which has been rebuilt motor sounds runs very well. It has new plugs, wires, points, condenser, rotor also a,new water pump and belts, and also a fresh oil change. It has a new starter and new brushes in the generator. Transmission The is a power glide that has been given a complete service it shifts very smooth and issues. Brakes It has a new master cylinder, rear wheels brake cylinders brake shoes still in good shape. Glass The windshield is cracked but I have another 1 that will go with the car. The passenger side door glass is cracked the rest of the glass in the car is in good shape and original to the car. Interior It is original and will need redone along with the headliner and door panels. Exterior It is a very straight car all the body panels line up very nice. The car has very little rust on the body there is no rust around the wheel wells that I could see. The drivers side front fender does have a very small rust spot. The rear quarters are really nice someone else had put body filler on the car a real light coat. It does have a few small dents hear and there. It looks to be the original paint on the car except where they had done minor repairs. Underside Overall very solid the frame rails are solid and the trunk is very solid no issues. The floor pans in the rear are solid and original nothing needed there. The passenger side has a very small rust hole the rest is solid. The drivers side has been patch and was done okay but to be right it will need some attention there really a solid car it is a Colorado car. This car runs and drives very well as it has been on short trips here and there. As far as the mileage do not think that this original miles The radio also works along with the gas gage. It will make a great car to complete as it is a 2 door hard top not a post car.
