The Water damage that the vehicle is listed under was water getting into the motor and shearing a connecting rod, there was no other damage to the motor. the vehicle was not sitting in any water of any type, there was no water in the differential, or the interior when i purchased the car. for water to get into the motor during a flood the water level would have ruined the interior, The mechanic that purchased the car with me was led to believe the water was purposely dumped into the motor, to collect insurance money etc. I bought the car and an engine rebuild kit and had the engine rebuilt by a mechanic at 50,000 miles, while the engine was out of the vehicle I replaced the starter, alternator and the vehicles belts. The motor is a direct injected 3.5 liter V-6 with 220 hp. and a towing capacity of 4,500 lb. for a boat, or small camper. The car runs flawlessly, I live in ND and even with -20 degree temp. it starts every time. In the summer the A/C keeps the interior very comfortable even on a 100 degree day. The exterior of the vehicle is very good for and 8 yr. old car. there is one dent in the hood, I had it looked at at a local body shop and was quoted $250 to get it fixed. Other than that the car is very nice on the outside. One thing to note is the black guard that is in the pictures in not on the vehicle. The tires are less than a year old with about 8,000 miles on them, and are Kuhmo with a 60,000 mile all season tread on them. The 4x4 system works very well. The vehicle comes with a snow mode for the transmission to help start on the ice, or other slippery situations. The suspension has a sport mode which stiffens the shocks for gravel, rough roads, or towing. The interior is Grey cloth, that seats five, but the back row folds completely flat if you need to have cargo room for something bigger. I have the factory mats along with rubber winter mats. The winning bidder can negotiate the shipping or pick up of the vehicle, I would be willing to deliver if close or meet half way.
