Vehicle Detail
I have for sale a white 1991 Toyota Camry with slightly less than 51,000 miles. The VIN is 4T1SV21E6MU390791. It is the 4 cylinder automatic transmission DX model with dark blue velvet seats and door panels which are clean and in very good condition. It has power locks, power windows, power steering, cruise control, ice cold a/c that was converted and recharged this past early summer. It also has a working aftermarket radio/CD player installed, and the original Toyota radio is included with the sale. The dashboard looks great with no cracks or damage. All of the interior dash and door parts are fully intact and functional including the drink holders. The original 1991 Toyota and Camry owner's manuals are included too. The exterior is free of any below the surface rust areas and has a nice gloss finish to it. Several areas of expected surface wear and small paint chips caused by road rocks have been touched up over the years. There are few tiny "door dings" and one boo-boo on the front right fender that you can see in the photos. This car is not a automotive museum quality never driven show car, but it is a daily driver that looks great and has been very well cared for and maintained. The Timing Belt Replacement Service Record sticker on the firewall under the hood notes the timing belt was replaces at 32,478 miles on 12-4-03. About four years ago I replaced the distributor with a new one from NAPA Auto Parts. Within the past couple or few years I have installed a new battery, alternator, and starter, all regular maintenance items you would expect to replace on a machine of this age. New brake pads and shoes were installed about a year ago. I recently had two brand new tires put on the car with the other two tires having plenty of tread and use still to go as you should be able to see in the pictures. It is between scheduled oil changes with the next one being due at 52,977 miles. This car drives great. It does not burn oil, leak any fluids, or make any rogue noises. The transmission shifts timely and smoothly as it should. The steering and handling is smooth. Maybe someone would prefer the ride with different shocks. There are no cracks or chips in any of the glass. It has a current inspection sticker. Everything works on this car. It has not been in a flood or had water damage, nor has it been parked idle. It is a daily driver just not driven far each day. I bought this very low milage, fuel efficient, desirable, reliable, practical, and safe car for my wife to drive to work and around town over four years ago. She never warmed up to its appearance as she told me it looked like a crocodile. So, a couple of weeks ago she bought a newer car that is more appeasing to her eyes. It has over 2X the milage, cost over 3X what this one will sell for, and it will be 4X as much to repair and maintain for parts and service alone, not to mention it will need it more frequently. However, she is happy with her consumer choice. I am not a professional car dealer. Although I am not new to eBay and I have a perfect feedback history, this is the first car I have ever listed on eBay as I would like the market to determine the ultimate price of a vehicle in this unique condition. This is a zero reserve auction yet I want to let you know I have had two legitimate local verbal offers both at well over $3K. I am also advertising the car for sale locally, and I reserve the right to cancel this auction if I decide to sell it to a local buyer. I have the clear title in my hand. Feel free to contact me directly if you have any unanswered questions about this car. I am glad I checked because the tire is low on air. I will have it filled or repaired if need be before transferring ownership of this car. If you got an offer for that particular car of $3000.00 that was a is a very good offer but you know your car an what you want for it.What are trying to get for the car.Ebay auction you have 6 days left if you are lucky you may get up to $3000. - norton52 Dear norton52, Hello Norton52, I truly do not have a set figure in my mind that I am seeking for this car. However, since I currently have many bids from various bidders, about fifty members watching, and have received a half a dozen phone calls already some with offers above $3000, I am going to let you guys in this market determine the ultimate price I get for this car. Good luck bidding and/or selling yours. - bikewva Also, just in case the counter resets upon making my modifications permanent as it did the last time I so unskillfully made a revision I'll tell you there have been about 340 views thus far.
