0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false ****Reserve $1500.00 lower than last auction****I’m selling my 1981 Jeep CJ7. I just had the original 258, inline 6 motor rebuilt last week. The new motor has about 25 miles on it and isn’t even broken in. I’ll just say it runs perfect. The Jeep is a manual 4 speed that shifts effortlessly. It has locking hubs and aftermarket solid rear axles. About three weeks ago I decided I wanted to change the color of the interior from tan to black/grey. So the Jeep has black 1991 Wrangler seats in perfect condition that have adjustable headrests. I had the original back seat re-foamed and re-upholstered. It has new carpet, new visors, and new door panels. I put new foam and a new nylon cover over the roll bar. Last week I had the gas tank pulled, cleaned, and treated. The radiator was also removed, cleaned, pressure tested, and treated. This thing is ready to go and I have receipts for everything including the professional engine rebuild. And the engine is warrantied, which you will get. Paint is in great shape as you can see, but does show some wear in areas. The Jeep has absolutely no rust, frame, or body damage. Has never been involved in an accident. Prior owner was a mid 40's female and she owned it for 20 years. Before I knew that the motor needed rebuilding, I spent a ton of money replacing items to try to make it run better. So it has a new fuel pump, new water pump, new flex-lite fan, new motor mounts, new air cleaner, new plugs, new ignition and coil, and a new battery. Pretty much everything. And I have receipts for all this stuff. The only thing I have not done is replace the tires. They have a good amount of tread on them, but are showing some wear. No dings, patches or anything like that. They still hold air, drive fine, and do what they are supposed to do. I just wouldn’t take them on a long trip. I do have a brand new spare as you can see mounted to the back. All matching rims. The Jeep has aftermarket A/C, which I have left unhooked, but do have. The engine components are still attached and working. I have an extra 5 speed trans. that goes with it. I have brand new lift springs for the front. I have new chrome step bars and a ton of other stuff. The Jeep passes smog and is registered till October of 2012. Almost a whole year left. I have a lot more invested as you can see.
