This original condition R60/2 was reclaimed from New Mexico earlier this year. This beauty has factory paint on all surfaces including the pin stripers initials under the 6.5 gallon original sport tank. When I took ownership it was in need of some work to make it road worthy. I had the wiring gone through, new Metzeler Block C's front and rear mounted and balanced to the original steel rims, a new final drive seal, new top end including pistons, rings, seals and gaskets. When the oil was first changed, it came out clean, like honey. Everything works on the bike, it starts on the first kick, shifts smoothly through all four gears, lights the road and stops as it should. I have taken it to Big Bear and beyond with no hesitation. All indications lead one to think the motor has never been cracked open, I mean the slingers have most likely never been done. This is no trailer queen, she shows her wear, a dent hear, a ding there and scratches give her the look and patina you would expect from a 46 year old motorcycle. I would not change that! But that will be up to you. These original condition bikes are getting fewer and farther between, don't let this very nice one get past you. Oh, and all numbers match...if you're into that sort of thing. I also had the original Denfeld bench seat recovered as the foam was falling off and it was a bit hard on the butt, she now rides in cool comfort with the original Denfeld tag re-installed.
