1997 Ford F-250 XLT 4x4 7.3L Power Stroke Diesel, Supercab, 5 speed manual, long bed. It is a west coast truck and has 144,322 miles. It is in good condition with normal wear and tear for this year and mileage. The color is oxford white with gray cloth interior. It has the famous 7.3L Power Stroke! It has all the standard XLT features including: power equipment group, cruise control, 5 speed manual transmission, aluminum wheels, and much more. It also has some upgrades including: sliding rear window, electric trailer brake, manual hubs, 4.10 limited slip axle, trailer tow package, and 4x4 package. Cosmetically, the truck is in good condition overall. The body is straight other than a dent behind the passenger side rear tire. The paint is in good condition. The tailgate has some dings/scratches on it that you can see. This truck has normal wear and tear for this year and mileage. It does have some dings/scratches, etc as to be expected. There is a dent in the front bumper on the passenger side. All these items can be seen clearly in the pictures below. This truck has never been in an accident and there are no repaints. The aluminum wheels are in good condition but do show wear. The tires are Falken All Terrains 285/75/16, and have approximately 80% tread remaining. The inside of the bed has scratches but overall is in good condition and has NEVER had a fifth wheel or gooseneck hitch. The truck has never been "chipped" or had any performance mods done to it. On the interior, all the power windows, door locks, etc work great. A/C and heater work great. The cloth seats, carpet, and headliner are in good condition. There is a typical "wear mark" [not a rip] on the driver's corner of the seat from getting in and out. The dash and instrument panel are nice, but there are 3 cracks in the dash pad from the desert sun over the years. No smoke odor! Non-smoker! Comes with two sets of keys, and owner’s manual. Mechanically, this truck is solid. It runs and drives fine. It fires right up in the morning. The clutch feels good, the manual transmission shifts as it should, the engine runs strong, and the suspension is solid. Its been sitting for about 5 days in the same spot and I did notice there is about 4 drips of oil underneath it. It is a 1997, so the very last year for this body style and one of the last years for the true heavy duty Fords with the renowned 7.3 Power Stroke. With 144k miles, this truck would make an excellent work truck or spare truck to have around. This is a NO RESERVE auction and the high bidder takes the truck home.
