You are bidding on a very nice 1937 Packard 115C 4 Door Touring Sedan. This original Packard was restored in 1990 so most would classify it's condition as an "older restoration". The engine and transmission were rebuilt by the previous owner and have low miles since being rebuilt. The engine oil pressure is very good and shows 30+ pounds as shown in the picture. The engine always starts right up and runs very smooth. The transmission shifts effortlessly and the brakes are also very good. Original items on the car are: * Heater * Radio * Lights (rare Trippe light option) * Grille This car rides as a luxury car from the 1930's should. As most of you are aware, Packard was considered the Rolls Royce of America's Automobiles. It is really a joy to drive! The doors, hood, windows and trunk all operate properly. The paint is 20 years old and is very presentable but upon close inspection the car could use new paint to have that show car shine. As is, it is a no excuses driver and presents itself very well. There is a small bubble on the right fender that has not changed in the 5 years I have enjoyed owning the car. I believe it is an imperfection in the paint. There is a small hole in the headliner by the back door and a stain in the center of headliner (see picture). The stains were most likely were there before the roof top rubber was replaced. They have not grown or changed in the last 20 years. Within the last 500 miles the car has had the following repairs: * New Water Pump * Rebuilt Master Cylinder * New Exhaust System * Front Motor Mount * Radiator Re-cored This is a 74 year old automobile and no warranties are expressed or implied. I require a $500.00 deposit within 48 hours of the close of the auction. The remaining balance is due within 7 days of the auction close. Funds must clear before the car will be released to the winning bidder. Transporting the vehicle is the full responsibility of the buyer, although I will assist in loading the car if required.
