Gorgeous 1976 Cadillac Eldorado convertible up for auction. No reserve price, top bidder gets her! Super clean Caddy Eldo convertible, last year for the big body drop top, 57k original miles. Options include 60/40 split power bench seat, thermostat on driver's mirror, passenger mirror, remote trunk release and power trunk pulldown as well as the standard power features. Mechanical work in the last five years: new exhaust system from catalytic converter, done right with Walker muffler and resonator, Caddy runs nice and quiet. Front end work done around the same time, including inner and outer tie rod ends, upper and lower ball joints, all bushings and new front axles. Four wheel alignment done after the suspension work was done. New brakes all around including rear calipers & shoes, front rotors and pads. A/C updated with R-134a freon, retrofitted to use modern air conditioning freon. New oil pan and valve cover gaskets and new passenger side exhaust manifold gasket. Recent radiator and hoses, new belts as well as new alternator and speedometer gear. Four new whitewall all season radial tires in September, under 1000 miles on tires. Convertible top replaced in 2009 with premium canvas top with glass back window, inner pads, new weatherstripping on windshield pillars and on convertible top. Top motor replaced at the same time, top goes up and down easily with the push of a button. Boot cover in white covers top when down. All power windows work well, no help needed, rear window motors replaced. Interior is very nice, door panels and rear side panels reupholstered, split bench 60/40 power seat works in all directions, seam beginning to open on bottom of driver's seat, two sun cracks on dashboard. The air conditioning and climate control works properly through all vents, new heater core. Caddy was painted in 2008, and all front and rear fiberglass bumper and fender fillers replaced. Rear bumper is a bit dull and a little bubbling showing in the paint above the driver's rear wheel. Nice modern cd/mp3 stereo with new speakers all around as well as new power antenna and chrome driving lights mounted on front bumper. Current NY State inspection sticker. Engine starts easily, doesn't leak anything, garage floor always dry when I pull her out. Cruises nicely on the highway, holds the road perfectly. Runs very strong, tracks straight as an arrow and brakes evenly, no pulling or fading. She idles perfectly (rebuilt carb) shifts smoothly, stops easily and the suspension is luxurious. Drives overall like a Caddy should. Always garaged, Eldo is almost spotless undearneath; floors and trunk completely solid, does not even show surface rust. All directional/brake/turn signal/headlights work, even cool triple fender light indicators. I always get smiles and "thumbs up" when I take her out. VIN is 6L67S6Q140043.
