I am selling my 1999 Kia Sportage because we needed a 4 door car. PROS: It has an automatic transmission with a towing package, non-smoker. It has 99,986 miles on it. The timing belt was changed at 69,000 miles when I bought it. It has a newer top (no leaks), new radiator, new 60 month Interstate battery, new idler arm, and new fuel pump, fuel filter and is garage kept. All new belts and hoses were put in 2 years ago. Newly charged cold AC. AM/FM CD player radio. Dual air bags, tilt wheel. The tires were bought new in 2007 and have some life left to them (see picture for tread). All oil changes and air filter changes have been done on time. There are no oil leaks when you park this car. The next oil change is due at 104,000 miles. Paint is still shiny, there are no rust issues or dents, scratch in rear (see picture). It has nice all alloy wheels. I have the owners manual and the receipts for repairs. It's a fun car to drive, dependably always starts right up, handles well, quiet and smooth....but runs weird (see below)CONS: I'm listing it in fair condition because my dog was rough and scratched the car on the inside (see pictures). Other things; the front seat belts don't work, the driver's side power window needs a new motor and it's missing the black rubber strip that covers the top edge (you can see it when the top is off) , the fuel door lever works but has come loose from the floor, and the rear door has the fabric torn off. How it runs: sometimes it has an erratic idle...sometimes skipping or revving up too fast, in wet weather or when running the AC it may stall on acceleration, but runs excellent on the highway.
