Diesel Trucks get greater fuel economy as compared to gasoline.The 2003 Ford F-250 XLT, 6.0L Diesel w/ Auto Trans has a heavy duty Reading Utility Body. The truck is located in Tampa and was part of a fleet that has not been used, or plated, since last February. Truck started up first try after being in storage for 8-months. The reason for selling this truck is that we purchased a newer crane truck. VISUAL INSPECTION/CONDITION: Tires: 2-Newer & 2- Need to be replaced. Battery: 2-replaced in 2010 (still under Advance Auto Warranty?) Engine: 6.0L Diesel/ Starts & Runs good/ There were no leaks on pavement where truck was stored & no smoke from exhaust. FOrd Trans: Automatic w/ Overdive Air/Heat: Blew cold, but was 58`F outside. Worked when parked. Body: Fair: A few dings & scratches look at Pics. No Rust Holes. Interior: Fair: original seat has tears & covered w/aftermarket seat cover Brakes: Working OK. ABS light flicks on sometimes when stopping hard. Keep in mind that this is a USED truck and is going to show wear & tear. The truck is could easily be cleaned up and made to look nice with a little work and few bucks. The truck is sold AS IS with no factory warranty, so please, have it inspected prior to bidding, as there are no refunds. Any inspection will be at purchaser's expense. However, we had driven this truck daily without issues prior to parking it so no major problems are anticipated, but it is still 100% sold as is We are NOT a dealer and are the private owners of this truck.
