1979 Firebird Formula it has the original engine and transmission with about 86,000 miles on it. It has the 301 V8 “w” code 150 hp (5.0L) with three speed automatic transmission. There were 24,346 produced the style number V87, model number 2F base price in 1979 was $6018. The good and the bad. The Good: it is all original there are no cracks in the dash or the windshield. It runs & shifts fine. Never been painted and has the original decals. The Bad: The head liner needs to be replaced; the radio (which is not original) does not work. The driver seat has rip in it, and the door handle is missing the bolt on the driver side (see picture). The outside; the body is strait never been wrecked. Gary’s dad pulled it out of the barn and scraped the passenger side on the barn door (pictures attached). It has a couple of rust spots also in the pics. I think that is all the issues.
