Vehicle Detail

I purchased this car a few years ago for a project (My Dream Car) but as the story goes it is not ment to be... I do not want to part this out, so please don't ask. This project was started with a very straight and clean 1966 body ($2000) which was media blasted and primed ($1500) taken to the body shop and gone over, skim coated, blocked, blocked more and painted ($6000). A 383 block was purchased and built by Hensley Performance which includes ported and polished aluminum heads, crane roller rockers with shafts, forged pistons, moly rings, polished steel crank, tons of machine work and balancing ($6194 Receipt can be emailed with more details), March pulleys ($300), and TTI headers ($670) Now just to make it special the search was on for a crossram intake which took months to find, an edelbrock STR15 ($1650) . This car was originally a manual column shift and almost got a 4 speed but instead ended up with a Keisler Tremec TKO 500 5 speed ($3900). The rear end is a rebuilt 8 3/4" with 3.55 gears ($1350) with the springs relocated 3" inward for tire clearance. New Bumpers, Hotchkis sway bars, Disc brakes, New hemi leaf springs, Torsion bars, and front suspension were completed added Cost ??? Right now we are setting at $23,500 which does not include any labor or suspension. Which when I go through my old statements totals around $30,000 for everything. Now the bad no interior other than the dash, a slight bubble in the drivers quarter and some chips in the drivers fender and door, some additional trim parts are included. I know I will never see a good return for what i have invested into this car. I hope someone that has the ambition and funds to see this project completed, it is a beautiful car and needs a good home to complete.
