1997 Ford F-250 XLT 4x4 7.3L Power Stroke Diesel, Supercab, 5 speed manual transmission, long bed. It is a one owner and only has 74,328 original miles. It is in very nice condition with minimal wear and tear for this year and mileage. The color is oxford white with gray cloth interior. Truck looks just as great in person. The truck was originally purchased in California and has been in California since. It has the famous 7.3L Power Stroke! It has all the standard XLT features including: power equipment group, cruise control, 5 speed manual transmission, CD player, aluminum wheels, and much more. It also has numerous factory and aftermarket upgrades including: Factory power driver’s seat w/ lumbar support, roof clearance lights, sliding rear window, Loctronics antitheft system, Draw-Tite electric trailer brake, B.D. engine brake with control on shifter, spray-in bed liner, class 5 receiver hitch, camper package, Vision camper shell (no key for lock), and 4x4 off-road package. Cosmetically, the truck is very straight. The paint is glossy. There is wear and tear, but minimal for this year and mileage. Here are the most notable areas of wear: There is a small dent on tailgate, a small dent near top of bed rail on pass. side, small ding in front bumper, a few minor scratches on drivers side bed, small crease behind camper tie down on driver’s side, and a crack in running board molding (very low) on driver’s side. All of these items are shown clearly in pictures. It has never been in an accident and there are no repaints on this truck. The aluminum wheels are in good condition. The tires are BFG All Terrains 285/70/16. The tires have decent tread remaining, but will need to be replaced soon due to cracking and wear. (please see pictures). The inside of the bed is in great condition with a spray-in liner. The truck has never had a fifth wheel or gooseneck hitch. On the interior, all the power windows, door locks, etc work great. A/C and heater work great. The cloth seats, carpet, and headliner are in excellent condition. The seats have always had seat covers (they were removed to take pictures) The dash and instrument panel are likewise very nice with no cracks or fading. No smoke odor! Non-smoker! Comes with two sets of keys and two factory key fobs. Mechanically, this truck runs and drives excellent. It fires right up in the morning. The transmission shifts perfectly, the engine runs very strong, and the suspension is solid. It is a 1997, so the very last year for this body style and one of the last years for the true heavy duty Fords with the renowned 7.3 Power Stroke. Overall this is a very straight, nice looking truck. Certainly one of the nicer (one owner - west coast) 1997 F-250’s you will find with only 74k miles.
