I bought the car for my daughter who is turning 16 soon, but she had changed her mind and does not want it any more, so I am done working on it and will sell it to the highest bidder. This original California car was first sold by Cal Ford in San Francisco, and has lived its whole life in California - still has the original black and yellow plates. All drivetrain numbers/date codes match and is the original drivetrain from the factory. Body had a few dents and a couple of small rust spots when we bought it -- all rust was cut out and new metal welded in, and all dents were metal worked back to shape and a very thin layer of bondo was used over these areas to get the body nice and straight. It then received a coat of PPG epoxy primer, and is now ready for blocking primer and paint. Original color is white with black interior. The interior is in good condition - headliner and back seat is perfect -- carpet, and door panels in good condition -- front seats are in good condition and comfortable, but sun has cracked the top of the seats, and they could use new seat covers. Dash and steering wheel are cracked, but have covers. All gauges are original and all work well -- all interior lights work. The original radio is in the dash, but does not work. Center console is in good condition. Windows all roll up and down easily - all door and trunk locks work well. 200 cubic inch inline 6 cylinder engine was rebuilt recently by previous owner. It starts right up and runs well, with no smoke or leaks -- I have put about 500 miles on the car since I bought it and it gets 22 mpg. The 3 speed automatic transmission works well, but has a small leak. The rearend and all suspension is original -- the car rides nice -- 4 lug wheels and drum brakes all around. Manual steering and brakes - all work great. New set of Hankook tires and the original spare tire in the trunk. Has a set of Pony hub caps on the car now and also comes with another set of plain hub caps. The stainless mouldings around the windows were taken off to make sure we got primer down around the windows. The rear window mouldings come with the car, but the fronts need to be replaced. We put on new bumpers, new rocker panel mouldings, new front and rear turn signal lights, new inner door handles, and new rear view mirror. Headlights, tail lights and turn signals all work. Car is street legal and can be driven at any time. I would not hesitate to drive this car across country -- it runs smooth at 70mph on the hiway. Comes with a new factory repair manual.
