Vehicle Detail

this car started out as a Barracuda Gran Coupe with a 383 290 HP. 2BBL carb. the Gran Coupe had the deluxe interiorwith the over-head console. As you can see the car now has a raised hood with the air scoops-fiberglass hood, the rear valance is set-up for the dual exhaust like on a Cuda. Listed below is how the car is now set-up. I do have the stock hood, rear valance, stock motor, that come with the car and many other parts, off the top of my head there are three carbs holley 800's to 850's anything I find goes with the car like timing lights, dwell meters, there is just an accumulation of things the previous owner had collected and kept over the years that goes with the car so consider this when shipping. Motor-440 built to 1970 440 magnum specs. with under 1,000 miles on it.Heads ported and polished.Manley pro-stock light weight valves and springs three angle valve job.Block and crank stock with heavy duty forged crank.Compression is 10.5 to 10 3/4 approx.Transmission heavy duty torque flight with a 2600 stall converter. Rear end-geared with 392'sAll the brakes have been rebuilt 11" drums all the way around.Rebuilt steering box.All urethane bushings.Rebuilt rear end with roller axle bearings. This car has been in California I believe it's whole life, I know the owner I got it from and he had it twenty plus years, and I have had it about three years, it is a dry car not a rust bucket. The car has basically been rebuilt every way mechanically and now needs the cosmetics finished, there is one rust hole in the lower passenger side rear panel as seen in picture, I would put a new front fender on it, you could pull the old one - it is a result of a 5 MPH. parking lot accident (old lady backed into it) buckled the fender slightly door rubs a little on the fender when you open it. The vinyl top has the usual small bubbling under it near the bottom back window, they all get it after the years, other wise the vinyl is fine not sure if I would put vinyl back on. The interior looks to be the original button fabric they put in the Gran Coupe you also can look this up. the head liner is out as getting ready for replacement, also the front grill was removed which I have and it is fine,I believe it is missing one small trim piece. I have been as accurate as possible describing the car what it has, and what it needs, this car runs and comes out of the hole like a rocket with the gearing, if you want it for highway use I would put taller gears in it, finish this car off how you want it color etc. and you will have a hell of a car, the original color was the yellow and the dash does have some cracking, any other questions ask and I will try to get back to you with what i know. I am serious about selling the car so I expect the same on the other end, after the auction ends there is a $500 non-refundable deposit, i will cooperate with the shipping, remember with the stock motor, hood etc. there are a lot of parts. Any thing else I think else I think of I will ad to this.
