1972 Mercury Comet, An Arizona Rust free Gem, 77000 Box A miles. Factory 302 with Automatic. Car is equipt with AC. Factory white paint over tan interior. Only thing that is not factory is the wheels,and front bucket seats. I purchased the seats from a local yard, they came out of a 74 Mustang II. I do however have the factory steel rims. This car is very clean and drives very nice. I was going to build it for a fun straightline car, but other plans have taken over. All the glass is perfect, everything works as it should minus the factory radio. The AC belt is off the car, but the AC unit still spins, NO locking up of anykind. The only thing that is not still with the car is the vinyl roof. The AZ sun wasted that many years ago. This was a car I picked up 7 months ago. I was told by the owner it was his grand mothers, but you all know the many stories that are out there. The trunk still holds the Original spare with air. It still has all of its factory markings on the firewall, axle, and uncarriage. It has a few dings and very minor dents, but nothing a basic body guy couldnt fix. She rides and tracks down the road nicely. A few pumps of the peddle and she fires right up. Factory exhaust and muffler. I really dont know what else to say, except if your looking for a great winter project that wont break the bank, this could be it.
