1966 Mustang 289 - automatic. This car was professionally (Mustang one in AZ) redone a few years back and has been sitting since. I have the vin listed, you can probably find out what the original car was - i'm not sure, I know it was red prior to this black paint. It has a 289 that starts right up and seems to run good, I don't think it has much modified internally, seems peppy and sounds good. It has a under dash A/C running on 134a (may need a charge), also power brakes with disks in front, drums in rear. Manual steering, I just had it alligned and they said it had been converted to a rack and pinion steering system- I'm not a mustang expert. The Interior was completely redone in red (this color may bre from another year i've beed told). Interior shows like new, has a vintage looking radio that is modern with a tape player I believe. Under side of car looks real good. Exterior paint looks good at a distance, up close some of the paint, mainly on roof, has some bumps or checks. These showed up shortly after the repaint, also there are a few nicks and rash from sitting in a garage. The chrome wheels all have a little rust on them about one quarter of the way around each one, I guess is the side that was down when it was stored. Overall this is a great driver, parade car, or cruiser. Great colors - head turner, good car to enjoy. Could be repainted and original type wheels put on to show.On Nov-28-11 at 19:35:46 PST, seller added the following information: I am adding some pictures of the underside of the car. It appears to have new suspension components, bushings, shocks, etc. Also, all brake lines as well as fuel tank and lines look new.
