1997 Volvo 960 This was my  first car purchase on Ebay. Needless to say I was a bit skeptical. I  ran across Val's auctions while looking for a used Volvo for my son.  His cars were cleaner and better priced than anything I'd seen  locally or on the net. Val went the extra mile to ensure I knew what  was going on every step of the way, and that the car was as perfect  as he could make it. Bottom line, when I'm looking for a used car  again, I'll look for one of Val's auctions first. Thanks for a great  car buy, Val. Excellent job. He was very accomodating with respect to  meeting to test the car and also allowed me to drive the car to my  mechanic for a more thorough inspection. Val was very forthcoming about  this cars problems and defects that he was aware of. He had even  contacted the previous owner to obtain the radio security code (for some reason, the original Volvo code was no longer valid). Given that the car  is 10 years old and due for scheduled maintenance, there were some  substantial repair bills in the immediate future for the next owner. I  brought this up with Val and he was very professional in his response. We  were able to negotiate a price based on this. Overall, this was a  good car buying experience. If Val is still doing this in 10 years when  my Volvo dies, I'll check out his inventory again. I, like  many people would be, was very nervous about buying a car on ebay  from America. I live in Norway so had to rely on Vals honesty throughout the purchase. He  took photos from so many angles it was almost as good as seeing it in  person. The transaction went very smoothly and correspondance was  excellent. I required Vals help to sort out an issue with the Customs which  required some further documentation from Volvo in America and Val sorted  this out for me. We have always wanted a 740 IL and, after getting the windows  tinted, it is by far the most beautiful car we’ve ever owned. Obviously,  purchasing a car over the internet causes some, if not a lot, of  hesitation. You never know who you’re dealing with, or what you’re  going to get. But, you did a great job providing so many pictures  and details about the car and its history that it helped to overcome our  fears and ultimately sold us. We are very satisfied with the final  outcome, Val. Although, we were initially scared about the balancing  issue with the tires after we closed the transaction. However, you  made numerous calls to the individual from whom you purchased the  tires/rims to find out the cause as well as the solution And, you  consistently followed up to make sure we were taken care of and  satisfied.
