STUNNING! 1959 CHEVROLET EL CAMINO PRO-TOURING FACTORY 348 TRI-POWER First off let me say this is a great show and go car but it is NOT a perfect show car. This car was done to drive and enjoy with all the cool lines of the 1959 El Camino and some very nice mild custom features. The car is a correct Snowcrest White color code with a red Impala interior. Body is in great rust free shape with all the cool lines that make this car a classic. The trim is complete with a few dings due to age but all in tact and not bad at all. Car has nice rocker trim and the front fender bullets and trim. The car also features "California" one piece front and rear bumpers and a custom tube grill. The doors and rear tailgate are rust free and in great shape. The bed has a custom aluminum framed cover painted to match with two electric motor pistons to lift it to about 60 degrees. Ridetech air ride tanks and pump are located the hidden panel in the bed where the foot well is located. (for those that dont know, the El Camino and the Brookwood wagon are on the same sub frame and the foot well for the rear seat is hidden under the bed decking making a great place to hide the air ride) Floors are perfect and the underside is spotless with all new suspension components. As noted the car is also a factory Tri-Power 348 with a build stamp of "T918HA" that has been completely rebuilt and runs flawlessly, starts easy, runs great, and doesn't make any funky noises. Engine area is spotless with new battery, radiator and new exhaust. Transmission has been replaced with a rebuilt T350 that works flawlessly. For all the by-the-book nuts we know that Chevy never made a red interior on a El Camino in 59 but it looks so damn cool. This car has the rare electric window and electric seat feature that is so hard to find. The interior has all the Impala trim, new door panels without the arm rest, new carpet, new seat cover, perfect headliner, and the Ridetech guages in the ash tray. The air ride switches and the bed cover switch is next to the seat controls on the drivers side. I will note that both side windows DO have a hair line crack in them, this being flat glass should not cost more than 70 each to replace. The Elky still has the power drums that are rebuilt and work perfect, I wouldn't know why anyone would have to go to disc when this thing stops so well. Check out the BIG Coys, 20's on ther front and 22's on ther rear with new Nitto tires giving it the way cool Pro-Touring stance. The entire front suspension has all new bushings and joints with NEW 2" drop spindles to help put the nose in the dirt. This is one great ride with RARE 348 Tri-Power that everyone wants and power interior options. This ride turns heads and gets the big thumbs up from everyone, even the chicks dig it, so bid early and often...it wont last! We will try to get the car on a lift to take pics of the spotless underside, weather is bad right now and dont wish to take it out in a rain storm and have to clean it. This car is for sale local and can be seen, just give me a email message and we can set it up. Please bring your money when you come see it, its that nice and you wont want to leave without it...trust me.
