Vehicle Detail
1932 Chevrolet Confederate Coupe Here’s your chance to own a rare, rust free and what probably is one of the nicest 1932 Chevrolet 5 window Coupes in existence today. An older ground up restoration but has always been garaged. I have owned this little coupe for about 6 years but have decided to downsize my collection. I really hate selling this one but it’s time for someone else to own & enjoy this little coupe as I have. The “Confederate Coupe” was the Cadillac version for Chevrolet back in 1932. This little “32” has been restored to its original condition. Attention was given to every detail during the restoration process. The unique windshield (rolls up) & rear glass (rolls down) design function as they were designed to do allowing for that cross flow ventilation or the 1932 version of air conditioning. What defines the Confederate Coupe from the standard coupe are the dual spare tires & wheels mounted in the front fender wells, dual mounted rear view mirrors mounted onto spare tires, dual chrome horns, chrome louvers on the hood, inside rear glass window shade. I just replaced the battery and she fires right up, every time. All of the gauges as well as the choke & throttle knobs function as they did whenever it was new. All glass is in excellent condition. This care needs nothing except some TLC and maybe a little polishing to brighten everything up. The car is equipped with the original 194 six cylinder engine & 3 speed manual transmission. This car is one of 2,226 five window coupes produced by Chevrolet in 1932. Seventy nine years later you can about imagine that there are very few in existence at all in any condition much less one in the same class & condition as this one. I have accurately described this car but opinions do vary so therefore I encourage you to have the car inspected prior to bidding. This is an older restoration so therefore not pristine but still a very, very nice car and one that will turn heads and place very well at the car shows. The pictures are current so you will be getting what you see. As previously mentioned the car will start right up, no engine noises, shifts through all gears (no noises) drives out well, brakes well (emergency brake works as well) all gauges works, all lights works (park & running) as well as interior gauge lights as described at time of sale. Please call and/or email with any and all questions prior to bidding. I can be reached at 256-710-6035 (Bruce). Terms of sale is: 10% non refundable deposit within 48 hours of auction end with full payment by wire transfer or certified check within 7 days of auction end. Car will be released after funds have cleared. Okay here you go……..I am offering this car at no reserve and far below what it’s worth and what is it’s estimated value. Stay on top of this one.........first bid.....the car will sell. Bid with confidence and what is and will be a solid investment. You will not be disappointed with this one. Thank you for your interest and good luck bidding………!!
