Vehicle Detail
1961 Triumph T120 Bonneville This bike is registered as a 1961 using the frame number 11899. Presently it has a 1960 T120 engine serial number T120 030127. The transmission number is 124968. The buyer will also receive the original serial number case half with the matching serial number T120 RD 11899. This case seems to be in generally good condition if the new owner wants to consider converting the bike to matching numbers. I do not have the other case half. See photos to verify. This is a good around town bike, not a correct restoration or show bike. New owner can use as is, or start a proper restoration. The engine does have the correct pre unit dual carb cylinder head. In 2010 the head was resurfaced and the valves replaced. Two new Mikuni carbs were added at the same time. The paint is good, with a few small scratches here and there from use. The chrome is good for the most part. The rear rim has sum pitting along the center, and the chrome on the right lower fork leg is dull. Runs on an alternator system with a battery for the lights. It does not have an ignition key. The two swiches on the headlight shell are the for lights and kill. Kick stand, but no center stand. The speedometer works but is old, and you can see the odometer and trip meter numbers are looking a bit ragged. Never got around to installing the knee pads or luggage rack. This bike has a clear Utah title in my name. The bike has a current plate and registration, but the plate does not go with the bike per Utah DMV rules. Please look at the photos and ask questions prior to bidding. Local pick up is available. Buyer is responsible for shipping charges. I will sell to an overseas buyer. HOWEVER, it is YOUR responsibility to know and understand any and all restrictions that may apply to shipping a motorcycle to your country. I cannot provide a quote for shipping overseas. As for domestic shipping, I have used Shippingmasters several times and have been pleased with their service. Buyer is responsible for shipping arrangements and charges. Thank you for your interest. On Nov-22-11 at 21:52:00 PST, seller added the following information: I will be travelling over the Thanksgiving holiday. If the bike should sell, it will not be available for local pick up until Tuesday, November 29th. Thank you.
