Vehicle Detail
This is a 1968 Triumph TR250 only produced for one year in between the TR4 and TR6. This is a very solid car to make a driver or do a total restore and have a $25,000 car. . This car turns over free and the dash lights come on. The starter looks like new and turns the engine with no hesitation. The carbs are off and ready to be gone through and the radiator was shot so i took it out. This car is going to run without much. All the rockers are good aswell as the rear behind the seats and transmission tunnel, the driver floorboard is decent and the passengers is shot. This is a very solid car, all the wheel wells and fenders are good. Hood and trunk are good inside and out. The doors open and shut really well and everything is allighned nice. The windows roll up and down with ease and theres no cracks in the windshield glass. Have a fiberglass hardtop no soft top. A little body and paint brakes and a little rebuilding to the engine and you'd have a really cool driver. Also its a 4 speed non overdrive car. Only 600 known to exist and some I've heard people getting to restore are in multiple pieces. Call for any more info I'll be glad to answer anything. Original engine and trans. Have the last liscense plate for it and bill of sale (512)743-7326 Tires are good. Have the side marker lights just left them off to show the original TR250 stripe. The tail lenses to but theyre faded. This car looks better in person, I can't get the right setting on my camera . NO RESERVE!!!! On Nov-16-11 at 09:35:07 PST, seller added the following information: I added some more pics of the inside and the rear fenders. Whoever painted last filled the rear crack in between the rear fender and trunk with bondo to smooth it out. TR250's originally had a painted trim piece here. I picked the bondo away so you can see there's no rust. Also on th car they used bondo to smooth areas out IT'S NOT RUST. The worst dent in the car is the drivers door where it looks like either a buckshot or a bb gun in one spot about 8' round. Anymore questions just message or call. I've had alot of questions about shipping over seas, aslong as the buyer pays promtly and handles all shipping charges and fees I don't care where it goes. Thanks for the interest and have a good day. Also I put a picture of the VIN# CD 6660 L and it was born April Fools Day April 1st 1968, pretty cool!
