This is a 1989 Mazda RX-7 GXL that is in very good condition with 117,000 original miles. It is the GXL model that is fully equipped with power windows,power door locks, tilt wheel, air conditioning(working), leather trim interior, functional factory anti-theft system. The 1.3 liter rotary engine starts right up and runs good. It drives and shifts smoothly and stops on a dime. I had bought this car late summer this year with the intent of using it as a daly driver. I re-upolstered the ripped seats with aftermarket seat covers, new outer door seals and touched up the body as the paint was in rough is some areas, came out pretty good. Also installed a new stereo and power antenna. Though this car can be driven now it will need minor work for everyday use. It will need a water pump as the present one leaks from the seal and the drivers side muffler has a rust hole that leaks and will need replacing. Also the hatch wiper doesn't work and the power sunroof only opens partially as it needs cleaning and lubrication. Other than that everything else works on this car. The tires have about 30% tread left and are serviceable for now. All in all this car is in nice shape for the age and needs only minor work. The interior is very clean and the exterior has a few small dings and blems, but it is a 22 yo car. Not a show car if that is what your looking for, but would make a nice daily driver. The other pictures were taken with my Android phone and came out lousy for some reason. I also forgot in the item description that the power seat belts don't work. It's not a big deal, all I do after I get in the seat it to clip it manually and it works as designed. On Nov-19-11 at 06:46:56 PST, seller added the following information: In response to the many inquiries about driving the car with the bad water pump, I have driven the car locally with no problems as the leak is small. However I strongly advise against a long distance trip as rotary engines are easily damaged from overheating and the pump could fail at any time, therefor I recomend a shipper.I can recomend a shipper who I used in the past who is inexpensive and reliable.
