Rare opportunity to own this clean California Rust Free 1974 Scout II with the AMC 4.2L engine, 4sp transmission. International use the AMC for a couple of years. Great performance low torque will go anywhere. I have spent thousands on it and it's about as close to a restoration as they come. I would drive this Scout anywhere. When I bought this Scout it was sitting a garage for about 10 years overall milage according the previous owner was less then 80K . Overall the Scout is in very good condtion. Rebuilt/Blanced AMC 4.2l CYC :"HAS LESS THEN 500 MILES ON REBUILD" Rebuilt heads less then 500 miles All new belts and hoses four speed transmission serviced works great new clutch installed and had fly wheel resurfaced new electrionic HEI distrubutor with new 8mm plugs wire and plugs rebuilt four core radiator new alternator new battery all new body and supension polly urthen bushing relaced new shocks all new brakes brake lines redone used stainless steel black lines new drums and rotors FRONT BRAKE ARE DISK REAR ARE DRUM New front/rear wheel bearing and seals new interior padding is heat and sound resistance new carpet passenger area with custom rubber floor mats, rear is new custom rubber interior vehicle was painted about six years ago and still looks good does have very minnor rust under paint in a couple of spots and small dent front driver side all door and window seals replaced also have new seal for top have not installed yet. tire have less than 500 mile on them tires are a "Remington MUD BRUTE 31x10.50R15LT" Scout has a tow hitch square type Speedometer works other gauges work with they want to. have"nt looked into yet I sure not serious, I use the new mechical guages thats why I have been to worried about it. All fluids seal in Axels replaced both diffs work good. DANA 44 AXELS New customer seats I have the original seats and base along with the back seat.
