1968 Jaguar XKE Series II Roadster 4.2. Very good running original maroon roadster. Paint showing some nicks and roadware. Some rust bubbling evident along trunk seams underneath (see pics). Car has had many, many upgrades and parts replaced - including: brand new clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, pilot bushing, and clutch slave cylinder last week. Complete rear suspension redone including 4 new shock absorbers and 4 new springs, pinion seal, rear rotors, rear calipers rebuilt, and emergency brake pads installed. Front rotors and front calipers also rebuilt, and new front wheel bearings. Differential cage mounts and radius arm bushings are new. Bump stops and sway bar links and bushings are new. Driver and passenger floors have been welded, sealed, and then undercoated. The carbs have been rebuilt and manifolds polished. Brand new pocelainized exhaust manifolds have been installed. New battery. 4 new tires. New top. New stereo. This is a very nice road car or driver if you will. This car is being sold as is, no warranty. Please e-mail with any and all questions. Interior lamp rocker switch does not work. The bonnet support subframe has been repaired. The picture frame subframe is damaged on the bottom due to being jacked up improperly over the years. The left front subframe has rust on the lower mounting point.On Nov-20-11 at 14:52:28 PST, seller added the following information: Getting a lot of interest / inquiries. Took the car out for a test drive - about 10 miles - noticed a slight miss on the way back. All the guages are working - except the speedometer which needs an angle drive. Water temp stays in the middle of the guage, oil pressure is good, alternator is chatging fine.
