Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a 1990 Ford Mustang 7-UP Special Edition Convertible that is in unbelievably great condition. The pictures cannot do justice to how good of a condtion that this pony is in. It's completely original except for the tires. I also changed the plugs, wires and air filter but kept the originals just to show how little this vehicle has been driven. All of the replacement parts are Ford Motorsport OEM original parts except for the tires which are Michelin Pilots and a new Optima battery. Overall the car is in excellent condition and even includes the original floor mats. You will not be disappointed with the condition of this car. The Ford Mustang and 7-up connection is as follows: The 7-UP Connection The 7-UP Bottling Company was to give away thirty of these cars at the 1990 National Collegiate Athletic Association basketball finals in the United States. In an audience participation contest, anyone sinking a basket from centre court with one try, was to drive home in one of the cars. At the last minute, the contest was canceled. 1990 Limited Edtion Mustang Convertible - General Information Production of these cars started in December of 1989, with only two cars being built. Full production began February 2, 1990 with the final car being built May 29, 1990. The convertibles all started out as coupes, and had the hardtop removed prior to shipment to Cars & Concepts of Brighton, MI. The plan was to build 5,000 but only 4,103 were built. The breakdown of the production numbers is as follows: - Total production: 4,103 - Number of 5-Speeds: 1,360 - Number of Automatics: 2,743 - Number of vehicles exported: 261 The 1990 Limited Edition LX Convertible has some features which differentiate it from other Mustang models. These features include: - Deep Emerald Green Clearcoat Metallic Paint (code PA) - Colour-keyed body side moldings, fascia moldings and side view mirrors - White Leather Interior - White Convertible Top - 15" GT Aluminum Wheels All 7-UP cars came with the 225 horsepower 5.0 EFI engines. As you can see, this is one of only 1,360 manual transmission versions of a Special Edition production run making this an extremely rare collectors car, one that is almost impossible to find in this unrestored and unmolested condition. If you have any concerns or questions about this car, please don't hesitate to contact me. The car is located in south central PA and you are more than welcome to see this car close up and in person if you so desire. I require a $500 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours after the winning bid is made. Full payment must be made within 7 days from the end of the auction. Vehicle will not be released until full payment has been verified. This vehicle is for sale locally so the Seller reserves the right with no legal recourse, to end the auction early and to cancel all bids.
