What's New for 2003
For 2003, the Volvo XC70 gets a new electronically controlled all-wheel-drive system. The Convenience Package has been beefed up to include power child locks, tinted rear windows and a split-folding rear seat.
Body Styles, Trim Levels, and Options
The Volvo XC70 is an all-wheel-drive midsize wagon available in one trim level. Standard equipment includes 16-inch alloy wheels, leather seats, a trip computer, dual-zone automatic climate control, tilt-telescoping steering wheel with audio controls, a CD stereo, heated front seats and simulated wood trim.Options include, a premium audio system, leather seating, real walnut trim, headlights and a sunroof.
Powertrains and Performance
Only one engine is offered, a 2.5-liter turbocharged five-cylinder. It's rated at 208 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque and sends power to all four wheels in varying degrees, depending on available traction. Under normal conditions, 95 percent of the engine's power is routed to the front wheels for the sake of fuel-efficiency. A five-speed automatic with manual gear selection and a winter mode is the only transmission choice. EPA mileage ratings are 18 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway.
Safety
The Volvo XC70 comes standard with side-impact airbags for front occupants, side curtain airbags for front and rear passengers, pre-tensioning seatbelts in all five seating positions, a whiplash protection system and four-wheel antilock disc brakes. A traction and stability control system is also an option, along with integrated child booster seats. In government crash tests, the XC70 earned a perfect five stars for its frontal- and side-impact protection.
Interior Design and Special Features
In standard trim, the Volvo XC70 doesn't look or feel particularly luxurious, but leather upholstery is available for those who want a more upscale cabin. The front seats provide excellent comfort, but legroom in the second row is tight. Interior ergonomics are generally good, although a few oddly placed controls take some getting used to. With the rear seats folded down, the XC70 has 71.5 cubic feet of cargo room, slightly less capacity than most midsize SUVs provide but considerably more than most other station wagons.
Driving Impressions
With its soft, forgiving suspension, the 2003 Volvo XC70 provides a smooth, isolated ride on all surfaces. Sharp handling isn't in the XC's repertoire, but light steering and a relatively small size make for easy maneuvering. The fully automatic all-wheel-drive system assures surefootedness in inclement weather but the XC70, despite its raised suspension, really isn't rugged enough for off-road adventures. On the move, the turbocharged engine is economical and smooth with adequate power for most situations, but the automatic transmission is sometimes slow on the draw.

Multi-Stage Airbag Protection System
The system is designed to deploy the different air bag system in a manner appropriate for the type of collision detected by the collision sensors. An immobilizer or immobilizer is an electronic device fitted to an automobile which prevents the engine from running unless the correct key(or other token) is present. This prevents the car from being "hot wired" after entry has been achieved.
Power steering
Power steering is a system for reducing the steering effort on cars by using an external power source to assist interning the wheels. Most new vehicles now have power steering. This is the option that will help you in bad weather on your trip and Irreplaceable able for your safety.
Mechanical
This vehicle has been test driven and most items have been used and seem to work properly. It drives smooth and true without obvious shacks shimmies or signs of problems:
Items like brake pads, lights wipers, etc. may need to be replaced. The condition of our car is PERFECT .
The seats has no rips or tears. The carpet is OK , but you might want clean it. The headliner is also clean with a soft texture. Since this vehicle is being sold directly off the lease at a wholesale level the exterior may have dings, dents, scratches or other blemishes associated with use.
The interior and the exterior are extra clean with average conditions and show very minor, normal wear for the miles and year of the vehicle.
All used cars including this one may have dings, nicks, chips, scratches, chips on the windshield and any other marks associated with the use consistent with the age and mileage of the vehicle.
This is very normal and almost expected for a used car of any age or mileage no matter where you purchase the used vehicle from.
Some times pre owned vehicles, regardless of where they are purchased, will have had some paint work. This does not imply that the vehicle has been in a collision, butrather that the vehicle has been maintained against basic wear and tear.
It's unavoidable that any vehicle will sustain minor cosmetic blemishes during normal day to day operation.

5) All our vehicles which we sell on eBay will be stored inside of our warehouse facility. Because we have limited storage space, we require that all vehicles be picked up within fifteen days of an auction completion. Please ask for allowance of additional days for loading during the auction! Otherwise, storage charges after fifteen days will be charged at $15/day. The title and car will be released only after all Banks checks, loan checks, credit unions checks and certified checks are cleared and said fees have been paid.

8) Vehicle Title policy - In the State of Pennsylvania, title to the vehicles are held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. In some cases there is a delay in receiving the original instruments up to 21 days from the time we pay a vehicle off. While we usually have all titles in our possession at closing, there are occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive. We guarantee clean titles on all our vehicles and all sales are through a licensed and bonded dealer in the state of Pennsylvania. Titles will be sent via Fed-Ex for proper tracking.
9) Vehicle dealership bidder policy - We do not sell to other auto mobile dealers through our Internet auctions. Auto dealers may purchase this vehicle only at the buy it now price if it is offered, and will purchase this vehicle as-is with no warranty. The unconditional guarantee insurance is not offered to auto dealers. We will not assign a title to an auto mobile dealership, unless pre approved before the sale. Auto dealerships will also pay an additional $265 doc fee. There are no exceptions to this policy.
