This is a very well maintained 1998 Pontiac Bonneville SSE. We bought the car in 2004 at 65,500 miles with a brand new engine. The 3800 is a very strong and durable engine, but the series II sometimes leaked coolant from the intake manifold into the engine. The dealer replaced the engine because of this, and I replaced the plenum and coolant again in 2009 with approximately 140,000 miles (leaked at that time, changed so it wouldn't hurt the engine). Between then and now I did a host of preventative maintenance to make sure the car lasts a long time. The car has very little corrosion due to the fact that it originally came from Arizona, and we've kept it clean and garaged. The car drives and rides smoothly and strong. The tires are high end Michelin Hydroedge tires that are like new. The car is well aligned and does not pull, and there are no known problems with the engine, transmission, suspension, or body. The leather interior is very nice with power front seats and airbags. There are no tears in the upholstery except for the center of the driver's bottom cushion. The only other imperfections are speaker covers and light cover missing on the driver's door, and slight discoloring of the passenger side dash top due to sun exposure in Arizona. We've kept it indoors since 2004, so everything is in very good shape. This is a very good, reliable car that has been well maintained. We also have four almost new Michelin X-Ice winter tires and second set of alloy wheels available for purchase separately. I'll make them available for a discount to the winner of this auction. I've included a list of major maintenance items within the past two years below, but I have complete records if there are any other questions.
