This is a 2002 Ford Explorer XLS 4x4 with 136,669 miles. This vehicle is tan with tan cloth interior. This Ford is in good shape.
This Ford Explorer has all the options, including a 4.0 liter V6 engine, automatic transmission with overdrive, power windows/locks, Panasonic AM/FM stereo with CD player, cruise and more. Everything is in working order with the exception of the rear passenger window, it doesn’t roll down and the rear wiper does not work. With winter right around the corner, this one surely won’t last long!
The interior of this vehicle is in pretty good shape with no rips or tears anywhere. There are two burn holes in the driver seat and one in the passenger seat about the size of a pencil eraser. There are two circular holes cut out of the back storage lid where a speaker was placed for a sound system (see picture). It is in good shape for the age and mileage of this car.
The exterior is in good shape considering the age and mileage of this vehicle. There are a few rust spots but nothing offensive looking (see pictures). Please remember, this is a pre-owned vehicle and is not perfect. It is going to have some wear and tear as you would expect with respect to its age. I have done my best to showcase all imperfections and blemishes (see pictures). The tires are at approximately 30% tread life left. Overall this Explorer is in good shape cosmetically.
This Explorer runs and rides fine. The four wheel drive system works in all settings. There is a bit of a roaring sound the faster that you drive which sounds like it is the tires. Possibly will need a wheel bearing as well. All it needs is a new home!!
This vehicle has been fully safety inspected and meets the state of Ohio’s Highway Patrol Safety Inspection requirements. If you are unsure about anything at all, please do not hesitate to ask.
