Let me start off by saying that I am not very familiar with older vehicles, but will do my best to answer any questions you may have. My father and I purchased this vehicle out of a barn where it had been sitting since 1963. We had planned to restore it, but have since purchased a 1939 chevy. It has a vin tag and we will supply a bill of sale. After viewing several other Packards to the best of our knowledge it is a 1938, by the fact that it has a split windshield, a floor shifter, external trunk hinges, among other features. I am estimating the mileage to be around 68,000 going by oil change stickers in the car and the odometer. It does need total restoration, however everyone that has seen it has commented on the fact that almost all of the pieces are there to complete a restoration. Most of the rust on the vehicle appears to be surface rust, and the body overall seems to be in pretty good shape. You can pick it up in which case it will need to be picked up within 30 days. If you need more time contact me and we can work something out. In the case that you want it delivered, a local towing company has agreed to deliver it for a $25 loading fee and $3 a mile.
