1995 BMW 540i 4.0 V8 and automatic. 174xxx miles. Runs and drives like a monster. Has the alusil motor with no leaks and 5 speed forward transmission shifts smooth and strong. No check lights for engine, transmission or antilock brakes. Light on for airbag. Body straight with minimal rust (slight on inside of bottom of doors) Hood has been painted and is paint is checking. Front fender has been replaced with a white fender and is slightly different color. Back Bumper has some cracks from a slight hit. Missing molding on passenger's side door. Driver's side molding should be replaced too. Interiior is fairly clean but the seats are dry and cracking and should be reupholstered. Cold A/C and hot heater. I found some black seats at the junkyand with heaters and will most likely install those. Suspension is tight and brakes work great. Drives 80 miles an hour smooth and straight. The guy I bought it from cut off the exhaust right after the rear wheels to make it sound 'cool'. ($1000.00 mistake) Had pipes and mufflers run at the exhaust shop but not factory exhaust. Am trying to fit a 740i muffler in it's place on Tuesday but no guarantees. The car has it's flaws for being a 16 year old car but drives great and is a lot of fun. Clear title. Any questions....ask
