CLASSIC MUSCLE SHARP 1969 MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE! “1969 was the pinnacle year for the Ford Mustang” This particular 1969 Mustang convertible is in magnificent condition! It serves an outstanding example of a rust free attractive convertible model released that year. Though this classic made its debut with many other pony cars that year. This low mileage unmolested rag top has its own character & unique attributes! This one is dawned in a stunning yet subtle shade of {W-Code} Meadow Lark Yellow and it is very appealing! One of the reasons I and many other hobbyist really seem to love this {3 owner} car is because it is rock solid and factory correct. It has only been repainted once {documents included} outside of the factory covering. Perfection was definitely the goal that the craftsman had in mind when he set out to accomplish his task. The paint seems to glisten in the sun and radiate wonderfully at any given time of the day. The exterior paint shade is slightly lighter than it would have been when the car rolled off the line in Dearborn. That being said the exterior is absolutely gorgeous! If you are tried of the status quo red, black & blue cars that are so prevalent in today’s classic car world then this stallion is just what the doctor ordered. Anywhere that you decide to take this Mustang you can expect compliments to follow close behind! All of the body panels seem to be original to the vehicle also. The fit is quite striking! No wavy bondo eye sore unlike so many classic vehicles that have been painted without receiving proper prep work. This one is laser straight, very uniform & ready to rock and roll! I would also like to mention that it is a 2009 Hazelwood Missouri classic Mustang 2nd place show winner. The windows & the windshield are in great shape with no chips/cracks present. The dash pad is in outstanding condition with no fading or damage either. The original {2A code} Black standard interior, carpet and cockpit area also shows extremely well! Some of the interior components have been replaced although many of the factory components still remain {the original steering wheel does have several cracks in it}. I want to be 100% candid about the condition of the vehicle {please view my feedback}. Every eBay community partner that purchased any big ticket item from me has been more than pleased with their purchase. At the end of the day the I am sure that the new owner will be more than happy with the appearance, style & comfort of this 69 pony! Bid with confidence….now back to the listing. All of the chrome on this car is in excellent shape. The factory correct brilliant black power canvas top was replaced a short time ago and it is in magnificent condition! There is also a convertible boot that is neatly tucked away in the trunk area. The convertible top fluid reservoir was serviced and refilled at the time that the top was replaced. *Servicing the reservoir can be a bit of a chore so it is usually neglected by most owners. The back seat has to be removed to access it and the process is a bit tedious. Since the job has just been completed the new owner will not have to face that task again for many years to come! The low mileage factory [F-code 302] motor and original [W- code C/4 Cruise-O-Matic] transmission are both original equipment. They are in excellent working order so this classic is ready for open road. This beauty has a host of new engine parts which includes, but is not limited to the: battery, alternator, plugs, wires, thermostat, heavy duty radiator, belts, hoses, voltage regulator, selinoid & too much more to list. Maintenance has always been held at a premium in regards to carrying for this Mustang so reliability & problem free driving can be expected. It has been meticulously maintained indeed! Authentic yet brand new 15x8 inch Magnum 500 wheels and spank brand new wide track performance Firestone Firehawk radials provide great handling & also give this pony an extra aggressive/authentic look! Dual Exhaust with two chamber performance mufflers empowers this pony & helps this horse belt out a nostalgic muscle car growl! The authentic Mustang hood scoop screams 1969 performance and it adds just the right touch. This Mustang plays its role very well.
