Up for auction is a 1968 Buick Riviera, it has the original 430 V-8 and TH 400 transmission. The car is very solid and did have a complete restoration about 10 years ago but needs some TLC. The body is excellent, the paint has some hazing and there are a couple small light surface rust spots where there were scratches in the paint. The X frame and underside is also very solid, I have more pictures of the underneath. The engine runs great and has some vintage performance parts like an Offenhauser high rise intake and Edelbrock finned valve covers. The car runs and drives, has newer brakes and tires on the factory Buick rally wheels. The white leather interior is pretty good, the passenger side seat bottom needs re-stretched and new bull rings to hold it. The headlights do flip over and all the lights work. The power windows and seats do not work, I think we have narrowed it down to bad relays which is common on these older cars. I bought this car with the intention of a full restoration but finances and time won't let me get to it and I hate to see it sit around and deteriorate! It does have a Wisconsin bonded title, the car was abandoned about 7 years ago when the owner at the time went to prison, the car was auctioned off by the state after it was siezed and the car was issued a official state bonded title and a new VIN. I have the title in my name clean and clear with no liens or issues. This is a fun car that you can drive and have fun with while you work on it!
