This is a pretty clean 2003 Jeep Liberty Renegade model that is not currently running, It came to me when one of our customers daughters had and issue with it over heating and it shut down on her. The Vehicle also has a Viper aftermarket car alarm system that is malfunctioning and causes the starter motor to work erratically. The engine problems have not been diagnosed beyond there was an overheating issue that caused the car to be towed and serious engine damage is expected, the engine does however turn over freely starter works when alarm system is not interfering with it engaging.The drive shaft to the frt axle is also missing I suspect it was removed because of the distance the Jeep was towed after overheating but it was not with vehicle when it was brought to me . The body is in very good condition with no rust and only a few minor dings, interior is pretty clean with no torn seats, or carpet wear, overall wear is light on the inside for a vehicle with over 100K. Tires, Battery, Etc are good. This would be a good Mechanics Project for someone who can do engine repairs them self or is able to replace the engine, Viper Alarm System is malfunctioning and wont let the starter engage consistently which kept us from doing any further diagnostics so that needs to be removed or repaired, so assume the worst and hope for the best on the engine. Great little Jeep for someone looking for a nice fix-up project, with the engine problem resolved this will be a very nice Jeep. I've had the Jeep for about a year and just can't find the time myself to mess with it further and have to many projects right now. Jeep has a clear title its never been wrecked body is in original very good condition.
